Hello,

I have to decide which content management system our company will use. Our company produce java-software and now we want to combine it with a cms.

Now the question: Which Cms ( java cms?) is a good one where we can combine own application with cms. Probably all but which one is quite easy?

Excuse for my english.

Please take a look at OpenEdit, it's written with JAVA and is very feature rich including Web Content Management, Hosting, Social Networking, built in eCommerce, Digital Asset Management, Events Calendar, Dynamic Layouts, Blog Editing, Usage Tracking, Reporting, and much more. OpenEdit does not require a database and can be used on top of existing html, jsp or php web sites. However, for those who need or want database functionality, it comes with OpenEdit's Pluggable Database Storage - Use OpenEdit as your backend, XML or any other database.

Thanks for looking!

So.......I tested it a little bit. My first impression was Super, so easy to use, really good WYSIWYG-Editor, good sandbox, good versions control, good undo, is it's really usable. Nearly all tools are one of the best I had ever used.

BUT: if you got a problem, whatever, then you have a real problem: No communities or only a very little one. Further I used Joomla, so I can compare it with it. And a forum/community is really useful!

Just a fistful of moduls/components/templates.

If you are looking for an opensource cms(really free), so you can use openedit only for smaller websites without special effects.Maybe a small webshop or personal website. Because it is really easy to use!
