Dear Wise Men and Woman
I am in need of a EMS / DMS system for my company of 150people. We have 4 offices within Japan and information does not run well between our R&D office, Manufacturing, Sales, Administration and service departments which are all located in separate buildings for technical reasons.
Our company has grown rapidly and we currently have no EMS / DMS system and I along with a team have been put incharge of evaluating a system.
Requirements:
* Work Flow
* Strong Security - Security levels and individual document settings
* Ease of Use (little training)
* Easy setup
* Expandable and compatible
This is my first time evaluating such a system and any thoughts would be greatly appreciated
The best document management systems I can suggest would be Xythos
However, for your size of business you are likely better suited for KnowledgeTree which is equally as good.
Take a look at easynetadmin.com. It's easy to use, has user access and administration, a built in ftp tool, does not require you to change your ISP, runs on the web as a hosted solution, and keeps content seperate from your design so you can not mess up your design. All for $229 a year, all updates included.
Hi there
Try Pegboard CMS it is simple to implement and security is more than Ample.
Design is kept very seperate so that contributors won't be able to mess it up. The contributor interface is really intuitive.
Good Luck
Brendon
