Should there be any problems with using a non-ASP.NET based CMS if my Web site is built entirely on a .NET framework (i.e., masterpages, controls, etc.)?

Are there any workarounds that will be needed to get a non-ASP.NET CMS to effectively manage my Web material?

Hi RT,

Without knowing all the details, it's a little hard to say.  However, I expect it would be hard for a non-ASP.NET CMS to deal with ASP.NET pages.

You might consider looking at Sitefinity:

http://www.sitefinity.com/

This is an ASP.NET-based CMS that is also based heavily on the ASP.NET way of doing things (Master Pages, User Controls, etc).  You can use these native ASP.NET templates & controls directly in Sitefinity.

I am personally using the "community" (free) version of this product on my personal web site.  It might be worth a look since you're already familiar with and using ASP.NET.

Take care,
